Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer, best known in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Following that, she performed on Broadway throughout a range of shows up until the year of 1957 in which Li'l abner was famous at the National Theatre. That same year, she made her debut album, It's the right time to Tina. Louise began beginning her Hollywood career in 1958, where she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film that was dramatic. The film was a massive success, and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She attended Actors Studio, New York during that time, becoming Lee Strasberg's student. Her contract was signed with CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise did not stop juggling her career across Broadway television and Hollywood playing more serious roles as opposed to the image of glamorous. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She also played SG-1 on the show and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Since her debut, she's been a renowned director of famous television shows like Supernatural as well as The 100. The family she was born into moved from Essex to Toronto which is where she spent her growing up and in adolescence. When she was selected in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has resided in the city ever since.
