Srushti Dehmukh was preparing to sit for UPSC during the final year of her engineering diploma. After her graduation she wondered if she could be happy in the engineering role. Eventually, she realised that civil engineering was her love and focused on it. The parents of her encouraged her to pursue civil service, and to pursue an employment in the public sector. She kept her motivation and concentrated on becoming an IAS Officer. The work required to become an IAS officer takes greater. While she was studying for her engineering classes, she used to also prepare different subjects in UPSC. The exam preparation took up all day long. She got ready for engineering tests in only one and a half months. She stayed clear of social activities as well as social media altogether. She is convinced that focus is crucial to pass the government examination and be a civil servant. She put in great effort to pass the test in the first try. Everyday, she read the newspaper to keep up with current events. Rajya Sabha TV, online studies and resources helped her. IAS Srushti Deskmukh IAS Srushti Deskmukh published her own book titled The Answer writing Handbook. The book is available at any library in the nation.
